If you haven't been to a 1920s themed party yet, it's likely you will get invited to one soon! Ever since Baz Luhrmann's film depiction of the classic tale The Great Gatsby, the '20s have emerged onto the modern day fashion scene, in more ways than one. Think floaty sequin dresses, fringing, fur, headpieces, finger waves & the faux bob! Personally, I'm loving it. No need to hire a costume for these themed events, as you can find a dress that you could easily wear again for another classy affair!
I recently attended the 30th birthday party of my two good friends, with a "Goodbye Roaring Twenties" theme (see what they did there?) & wore one of my LPDs I've been dying to wear. The Penelope Sequin Dress >
What I wore:
- The Penelope Sequin Dress $74.95
- 2 layered Summerblossom Headpieces (www.summerblossom.com.au)
- A $15 shawl from Kmart!
- And my blue hair (see how I got my blue hair here: Blue Hair Don't Care)
Also at the party was Amanda (to the right) wearing the Gatsby Sequin Dress >
Below I have pulled together some more 1920s themed outfits using my Little Party Dresses! >
