This is a gorgeous print, let me start with that. The dress itself is a beautiful oversized sort of style, that should have fit me perfectly. I actually giggled as I laid it out of the bed thinking about how much I'd love the way the very generous skirt on it would twirl.
When I put it on, I got a bit of a rude surprise. While the dress could easily fit all of my amazing curves... the lining was a different story. It was like wearing a weird polyester straight jacket around my tummy and thighs underneath an amazing balloon skirt. Why there was such a HUGE difference between the size and shape of the lining skirt and the dress skirt I do not understand. The liner was straight like a pencil skirt, the dress a big beautiful flowy skirt. This prevented me from being able to even sit comfortably. I did love the dress, so I took out a trusty pair of scissors and cut away the liner since I planned to wear it with tights and didn't need to worry about it being a ittle see through. But that's not something you should have to do on a dress at this price point and has been a problem with a few lined items I've gotten. It usually shows a garment was designed for straight sizes and then upsized without input on how the design may need to be slightly altered for plus sizes. Anyway, it now fits me perfectly. I get a lot of compliments wearing it. But if you're a bit rounded and curvy, watch out for those liners!
