Hips: Measured around the largest part of hip.
To measure: Place measuring tape around the fullest part of your hips and stand with your heels together.

Lovely details
I love the fit of the jacket. It is a good length and has the lovely brass coloured buttons which add something special to it. I have worn it casually with jeans, a little more on the business side with pants and over a couple of dresses. Very versatile, looks good and feels comfortable.
