I wore this dress to a wedding and felt so comfortable and confident in it. It hangs beautifully. I didnt wear it off the shoulder ( did have to pin it to my bra strap) and it sat nicely all night. I dont normally wear shirred bodice dresses as I think they can sometimes flatten your boobs too much, but this still allowed me to have a good bustline shape. Im short ( 163 cm) so I took up the hem by 9 cm and it sat at a good length (mid calf) with a pair of 6 cm wedges. The red is a blood red not a scarlet.
